Chancenkarte (Opportunity Card) — For Those Without a Job Offer
Points required: Minimum 6 out of 10.
Points: STEM/IT/healthcare degree (3 pts), other degree (1 pt), German B2+ (3 pts), German A1/A2 (1 pt), 2+ years experience (1 pt), under 35 years (2 pts), previous Germany connection (1 pt).
Financial requirement: EUR 12,000 in a blocked account (Sperrkonto) or monthly EUR 1,027 proof.
Work rights: Up to 20 hrs/week while searching. Valid 1 year. After finding work: convert to EU Blue Card.
