IELTS General Training
Format: Paper or computer-based, 4 sections. Results: 3-13 days. Cost: INR 17,000 / CAD 310. Best for: global accessibility, also accepted for Australia and UK immigration.
CLB conversion: CLB 7 = L6.0, R6.0, W6.0, S6.0. CLB 9 = L8.0, R7.0, W7.0, S7.0.

Format: Computer only, all-in-one session. Results: 4-8 days. Cost: CAD 280-295. Best for: candidates in Canada, those who prefer typing and AI-scored speaking (no face-to-face interview).
CELPIP 9 is approximately equivalent to IELTS 7.0-7.5.
PTE Core (Since 2023)
Format: Computer, 2 hours. Results: 48 hours (fastest). Cost: INR 18,000. Note: Use PTE Core specifically for Canadian immigration — PTE Academic is for Australia.
