    How much does Express Entry cost in 2026?+

    Government fees: ~CAD $1,650 for a single applicant (processing + RPRF + biometrics). Adding medical exam (~$225) and consultant fees (~$1,500–$2,500), the realistic total is CAD $3,500–$4,500 for a single applicant.

    How much does a study permit cost in Indian rupees?+

    Government fee: CAD $150 (≈₹9,150). The GIC deposit (CAD $10,200 — refundable) adds ≈₹6.2 lakh. First-year tuition + living expenses bring realistic first-year costs to CAD $35,000–$45,000 (≈₹21–27 lakh). Fees shown in INR are approximate at 1 CAD ≈ ₹61.

    Are Canadian immigration fees refundable if refused?+

    Most processing fees are non-refundable. The Right of Permanent Residence Fee (CAD $515) is refunded on refusal. The Study Permit GIC deposit (CAD $10,000) is refundable. Biometric fees ($85) are non-refundable.

    Do I need to pay a consultant fee?+

    You're not legally required to use a consultant. However, RCIC-licensed consultants significantly reduce the risk of document errors, refusals, and delays. The consultant fee is typically recovered many times over in time saved and avoided re-application costs.
